This tasting menu might consist of up to twelve individual dishes – from light and fragrant fish steamed in banana leaves to sweet and hot lamb; vegetables with mellow hints of spice to complex, slow-cooked beef enriched with aromatic turmeric leaves and fiery peppers. This is chef Sonja Pereira’s emotional return to her roots and a feast reserved for festive occasions.
